I am on the lani again drinking coffee. It is 4:30 pm here 8:30 in Saskatoon. What are you guys up to this time of day on a Monday night? Phil and I and the boys went to Lahiana to have lunch and go on a submarine ride. It took most the day but we had some fun family time. We stopped by the banyan tree to get some photos. It is a huge tree where the roots grow down from the branches. We had a delisious snack of flavored shaved ice on top of vanilla icecream. The kids are now swimming with gram while Phil reads his book and I am having some quiet time on the computer. Tomorow Phil and the kids will be taking surfing lessons and I will be taking pictures from the safety of the beach.
Over the last few days we have been swimming, snorkling, shopping and doing very little homework. I saw a couple of turtles when I snorkled at 7:30 am. It was a quiet time to snorkle, the waves haven't picked up yet and the fish have not gone into hiding yet. I took some pictures with my disposable underwater camera. Then I discovered water inside my camera so I don't know if those photos will work out or not.
We leave one week tomorow, it is hard to believe we have already been here a week. We have spent lots of time walking on the beach. Each time we walk I try to memorize the view because I wonder if it is the last time we will be on the beautiful island that God created.
